You can receive FOSS software FREE, and you don’t need to pay money for "legal air", because any license fee is absent in FOSS case.

You can use Free/open source software in any field of activity because the list of FOSS computer programs contains thousands names – from full-function office packages up to three-dimensional modelling or business-processes planning software.

And the main thing - that Free/opened ON absolutely legal.
